Pursuant to the Village's Purchasing Manual, projects consisting of goods, services and overall public works in excess of $20,000 will undergo the competitive bidding process. Commercial & Residential Solid Waste Franchise Agreements (Closed)
The Village of Lake Bluff is accepting proposals for qualified firms to collect municipal waste, recyclable materials, and landscape waste / food scraps throughout the Village. The Village requests separate proposals for residential waste hauling (initial term 4/1/2022 - 3/31/2027) as well as the Village's first commercial waste hauling franchise (initial term 4/1/2021 - 3/31/2027, with exclusivity starting 15 months after the award date as required by law). The Village will evaluate awarding both franchises to a single firm and may do so if such an award is in the best interest of the Village.For full details, consult the following documents:
