LET'S GET POPPING! After a two year hiatus, Lake Bluff's famous Corn Roast is BACK! Get some of the first corn of the season FREE on Friday, August 12 courtesy of the Lake Bluff Firemen's Association and the Farmers Market.
VIADUCT REOPENING. Daily closures of the Scranton Avenue viaduct will finish no later than 4 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday). Closures this week were necessary to repair rusted sections of the bridge support system.
CART REFRESH WRAPPING UP. Groot is set to finish delivering new landfill and recycling carts. If your cart situation isn't taken care of by Monday, August 8, call Groot at (877) 404-7668. This replacement is part of the Village's updated residential waste, recycling, and composting program.
DAY ON THE FARM. Once a year, local art and history enthusiasts have a chance to tour Crab Tree Farm's historic grounds and exclusive collection of American Arts and Crafts furnishings. This year's tours will be held Saturday, September 17 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased from the Lake Bluff History Museum.
