Street Closures. Scranton Avenue between Sheridan Road and Evanston Avenue will be closed from 6:30 a.m. until late Saturday evening. Streets within the course will close Saturday morning starting at 8:30 a.m. and reopen after races are concluded (approximately 8 p.m.).

CART REFRESH, PT. 2. IMPORTANT! Groot is almost done delivering new landfill and recycling carts. Starting Monday, August 1, place old carts at the curb and leave them until they are removed. All old carts must be collected by Groot; you cannot keep your old carts. If you have any issues, call Groot at (877) 404-7668. This replacement is part of the Village's updated residential waste, recycling, and composting program.
DAILY VIADUCT CLOSURES NEXT WEEK. The Scranton Avenue viaduct will close daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday (Aug. 1) through Saturday (Aug. 6). The closure is necessary to repair rusted sections of the bridge support system.
