Village and Community Updates

YOUR SUMMER FUN DESTINATIONS this weekend include:

  • The Lake Bluff History Museum Auto Show motors into town tomorrow Saturday, June 25 from 3 to 6 p.m. Roads will close downtown starting at noon.
  • Foodstock is this Sunday, June 26 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Donations of non-perishable food items support the C.O.O.L Food Pantry.
  • Stay tuned for more about the Village's Fourth of July celebrations...

STREET RESURFACING UNDERWAY. The Village's road resurfacing program continues. Click for details and a list of scheduled streets.

 

THAT'S THE SPIRIT. The new Elmet Vliet Community Service Award honors those who exemplify the spirit of "community above self." Make a nomination by August 1, 2022.

SURVEY SAYS... The Lake Bluff Library is currently administering a patron satisfaction survey. Take a few minutes and let your voice be heard.

There were no public meetings the week of June 20. 


Upcoming Village Board Meeting (Monday, June 27, 7 p.m.). The Village Board will consider:

  • Proclaiming June 2022 as Pride Month.
  • Appointing Paul Bergmann as chair of the Historic Preservation Commission.
  • A site plan for "The Farm" at 921 Sherwood Drive.
  • Residential variations for a pergola at 305 E. Scranton Ave.
