Board of Directors for the Chicago Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and facilitates the chapter’s Corporate and Association Counsel Division

Community Involvement:

1997 to 2011 and 2019 to present - Board of Directors for Family Rescue, a domestic violence services agency

2011 to 2019 - Member of Lake Bluff School District 65 Board of Education

2012 to Present - Board of Directors and Vice Chair for Heartland Alliance (International NFP based in Chicago dedicated to eradicating the effects of poverty throughout the world)

2019 to 2021 – Village of Lake Bluff Joint Plan Commission & Zoning Board of Appeals

Hobbies and Interests:

Enjoys gardening, yoga, and bicycling.  Other interests include listening to progressive 80s music, traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Village Issues Most Concerned With (not listed in any particular order):

  • Infrastructure issues, including stormwater system and bluff erosion;
  • Public safety contracts and arrangements, including funding police pension and maintaining independent volunteer fire department and contracted EMS services;
  • Zoning and land use issues, including Stonebridge and Block 3; and
  • The need to diversity available housing to include apartments, condominiums and Accessory Dwelling Units.
