Dickinson Hall "The Christmas Tree Ship" Lecture and Luncheon

Thursday, December 6, 2018, 12:00pm -  2:00pm

We begin at noon with a delicious lunch including appetizers, main course and dessert. Then All Aboard! Rochelle Pennington is back with a facinating PowerPoint presentation about Chicago's legendary Christmas Tree Ship, considered the most loved story of the Great Lakes over the past century. Learn about the ship's mysterious disappearance, clues that washed ashore decades later, ghost-ship sightings and the omens believed to have cursed the ship before its final voyage on November 22, 1922.
